Screen recordings, edited into demos people can follow

Send the raw capture of your app. We cut the waiting, add zooms and callouts where the eye should go, sync the voiceover to every click, and quote the job before we start.

Why raw screen recordings are hard to watch

Recording your screen is easy. Watching someone else's recording is the hard part. The mouse wanders while the narrator thinks. A page takes four seconds to load. The button that matters is twelve pixels tall on a wide monitor, and the voice says "click here" a full second before the cursor gets there. Viewers lose the thread, scrub back, and give up.

Editing fixes those problems without reshooting. We cut the dead time, smooth the cursor, zoom in on small controls, and line each spoken step up with the click it describes. The finished video feels shorter than the raw capture even when nothing important was removed.

How we plan each video

Before cutting, we mark the moments the viewer has to notice: the menu that opens, the field that gets filled in, the button that saves the work. Each one gets a numbered callout, and the voiceover script is matched to those numbers. The drawing at the top of this page is an example. Four callouts, a zoom on the Export button, and a script timed at a steady reading pace. When a line runs longer than the action on screen, we know before the edit where a pause or a slower zoom is needed.

The process page shows a longer map and walks through each stage of the job.

Who sends us recordings

Most of our work comes from software companies and the people inside them: a founder who recorded a demo for investors, a product marketer with a launch next week, a support lead who needs twenty help-center videos to match the new interface, a trainer who records internal tools for new staff. Agencies that build apps for clients send us recordings too, when they need a handover video or a demo for the client's sales team.

You don't need studio gear. A clean screen capture and a decent microphone are enough. If the audio is rough, we can clean it, and if there's no voiceover yet, we can work from a script and caption the steps instead.

What to send

A short brief saves a round of questions. A useful one covers:

  • The raw screen recordings, at full resolution, through a shared folder link
  • A script, an outline or a list of the steps the video should show, in order
  • Any voiceover you already recorded, as a separate audio file
  • Your logo, brand colors and fonts, plus any intro or end card you already use
  • Where it will run: a landing page, a help center, a sales email, an app store listing or social
  • Anything that must not appear on screen, such as customer names, emails or account numbers
  • The date you need it and who signs off on changes

Not sure what you have? Send the recording link and one sentence about who the video is for. The quote will list anything that's missing.

Where we work

All editing is remote, so recordings can come from anywhere. We focus on teams in Fort Worth and Scottsdale and book calls in your local time.

Common questions

How much does a demo video cost?

It depends on the length of the raw recording, the finished length, how many zooms and callouts it needs, whether a voiceover has to be synced or cleaned, and how many versions you want. We quote each job in writing after seeing the material, so you know the cost before work starts.

What should I record with?

Any tool that captures your screen at full resolution works, including the recorder built into your computer. Close other apps, hide notifications, and record at the size the viewer will see. A browser window set to a common laptop size usually reads better than a full ultrawide monitor.

Can you hide customer data that shows up in the recording?

Yes. Tell us which names, emails or numbers must not appear, and we blur or cover them on every frame where they show.

Are the images on this site real projects?

No. The stills are AI-generated samples and the callout maps are illustrations made for this site. We don't publish client work without permission.

Have a screen recording that needs work? Tell us what the product does, who the video is for, and where it will be shown.
